Born in Sydney Australia, Mitchell enjoys using inks to articulate his thoughts.

He is fascinated by the cultures of the Far East, from which he draws inspiration to explore themes of life, death, passion and the complexities of human psychology. Animals, female figures and foliage are frequent subjects of his creative musings. Characterised by crisp black lines, washes of grey and accents of red, Mitchell uses traditional and contemporary media to capture the intensities of life.

He also has a profound appreciation for the built environment, and the symbiotic relationships that humans share with the world around them. Mitchell graduated from the Master of Architecture (University of Sydney) and the Bachelor of Interior Architecture (University of NSW).
